We are scheduled to meet with Ascel, my future cousin-in-law, at MAMC lobby around 3pm today. I brought my two kids and nanay along since the two kids does not have school because of teachers meeting. So for her to get to know and see for herself the two kids, I decided to bring them along.

We talked about the flower girls dresses, the program, my ‘role’ which is now as one of the ushers, and Jimer’s participation in the reception program. It’s really very hard and complicated for these two people to organize their wedding since both of them are half-the-world apart, and they have to communicate through the internet. We’re now counting the days, weeks and months prior the actual date on December 30, and we’re all very excited about it. And its not everyday that someone you know is getting married, and the fact that this event has been long overdue for my cousin, Alex, and that’s what makes it more special.

After we finished the arrangement, we bid our farewell to Ascel and the next time we’ll be seeing her would be by December. We then proceed to the cafeteria to check what was being served them. Bambam complains that obviously, they’re all vege-products which is her least favorite type of food. As we were checking on the food served at the counter, I was called by nanay and pointed me to Jojing, my other cousin. Of all the people that we might meet here, it’s just very lucky that we find him. He invited us to his wedding this coming October 19, but will be held in Baguio because his fiancee is from there. I was happy to see him after so many years and knowing that he will be getting married just a shy two weeks away. I couldn’t imagine him being this all grown-up, because I always think of him as our youngest brother, one that is very close to both my brother, Samuel and I.

We parted and he hope that we’ll be able to be with him to share this special day. But because of the location, we might find it hard to get there as much as we wanted to. I just requested if they could just spare at least one vacant spot for nanay so that she can at least go to Baguio.
